
Chen Chuanduan, Master of Comparative Education, went to the Civic Ecology Lab of Cornell University as a visiting scholar in 2018. His academic focus on Entrepreneurship and Innovation Education, Nature Education, Biophilia & Topophilia. His photography work focuses on the minutiae of the various extended areas of human activity through rigorous academic convergence, seeking to resonate with the viewers and stimulate thinking. Later, his life experience in the mountains made him interested in natural life, land, and the connection between human and nature. After selected as "TOP20·2019 Chinese Modern Photography New Talent“, he published the photo book 《Restrained Orders》、《Like Run Come Run Go》and《 Restorative Topophilia 》. And now, Chen lives and works as photographer and educator in Shanghai, with a Canadian Sphynx cat named Corleone.
