The Disordered Gaze and Scorching Theater seeks to capture the sensations and disruptions I experienced within a cross-cultural context, along with the emotional responses they elicited.

This body of work emerged from my travels through unfamiliar regions, where I aimed to convey a certain tension―one that permeates society and manifests in individuals’ postures as they drift beyond grand narratives. The "scorching theater" serves as a depiction of an era marked by clamor and turmoil. Through fragments of gazes and the act of being gazed upon, I attempt to uncover the ideological networks hidden within everyday life. These networks subtly shape our perceptions of the world and define how we engage with others. Embedded within these mundane interactions are struggles and unresolved issues, lurking in every glance and gesture amidst the ordinary and the communal.
